Klaudia Brommund, professional falconer and owner of the Horus-Falknerei / Germany was born 1963 in Hamburg.
She graduated school with her a-level in 1982 in Kiel. The next eight years she worked as a Medical Technical Assistant in different hospitals in Kiel and Schleswig-Holstein. In 1990 she became a member of the Eagle-Protection-Group of the government.
She made the hunters- and falconers license in 1991 and started as a professional falconer in the Wildlife Park Eekholt. In the park’s school she educated children and performed the daily falconers shows. She trained raptors such as: eagles, owls, falcons, buzzards and hawks.
In 1993 she received an offer to work in the Falcon Center of Harald Küspert. She stayed there until 1998 as a chef-assistant. During this time she handled all kinds of hunting falcons, was responsible for the wild hacking and the medical care.
1998 she founded her own enterprise, Horus-Falknerei, performing falconry shows all over Europe. Since 2010 she educates falconers in her falconers school and founded the first Center for Animal Assisted Therapy with birds of prey in Germany.
